1. About Manaby
Manaby is an independent browser created by a single developer for personal use and shared with the world. This is not a commercial product. There is no company, no investors, and no business model behind it.
I built this browser the way I wanted it, and I’m sharing it with you because I believe others might find it useful.
2. No warranty
Manaby is provided “as is” without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
This is a personal project shared freely. I’m not responsible for any issues, data loss, or damages that may occur from using this browser. Use it at your own risk.
3. Privacy & data
I’m not going to spy on you. That’s a promise.
Manaby was made for personal use, which means:
- No data collection or analytics
- No tracking of your browsing activity
- No ads or monetization schemes
- No accounts or sign-ins required
- Your data stays on your device
This browser doesn’t send your information anywhere because I simply don’t want it. I built this for myself, and I don’t want to be tracked either.
4. Source code
While Manaby is free to use, the source code is not publicly available. This is a personal project, and I choose to keep the code private.
I understand this means you have to trust me when I say I’m not collecting your data. If that’s not acceptable to you, that’s perfectly fine — use a different browser.
5. Non-profit project
Manaby is a non-profit project. I don’t make money from it, and I never intend to.
There are no:
- Premium features or paid tiers
- Subscriptions or donations requested
- Advertisements or sponsorships
- Data sales or monetization schemes
This is just something I made for myself and decided to share.
6. Updates & support
Updates are provided on a best-effort basis. Since this is a personal project:
- I update it when I have time and interest
- There are no guaranteed release schedules
- Features are added based on my personal needs
- Support is limited and informal
I’m sharing this because I think it’s useful, not because I’m running a business.
7. Acceptance of terms
By downloading and using Manaby, you accept these terms. If you don’t accept them, don’t use the browser. It’s that simple.
8. Changes to terms
I may update these terms occasionally. Since this is a personal project, I’ll do my best to keep you informed, but I make no guarantees.
Continued use of Manaby after changes means you accept the updated terms.
9. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by common sense and basic fairness. This is a free browser made by one person. Don’t expect corporate-level legal frameworks.
Contact
If you have questions about these terms, you can reach out through the channels provided on the main website. Just remember: this is a one-person project, so responses may take time.
Bottom line.
Manaby is a free, independent browser made for personal use. I’m not tracking you, I’m not selling anything, and I’m not making promises I can’t keep. Use it if you want, don’t if you don’t. That’s all there is to it.
